BYD to ship 106 electrical buses to Finland

Electrical bus maker BYD has secured its first order from Finland. Nobina, a bus transport group that operates all through the Nordic area, has ordered 64 BYD e-buses for service in Helsinki and 42 for service in Turku.

Nobina’s order for its Helsinki fleet consists of 20 of BYD’s 40-foot low-floor fashions and 44 60-foot articulated fashions. Deliveries are to start in 2021.
